Jeffrey F. Brown, M.D. – RETIRED

We would like to say THANK YOU to Dr. Jeffrey Brown for his dedicated service and extraordinary care to the patients of the Chippewa Valley for the past 37 years. We wish Dr. Brown all the best in retirement. He will be missed!

Dr. Brown has dedicated his entire 25-year professional career serving our patients, from headquarters in Chippewa Falls and our offices in Stanley and Ladysmith. During that time he and his wife have raised their 4 children here in Chippewa. An outdoor enthusiast and runner who has completed 2 Boston Marathons, Dr. Brown emphasizes eye health: “I tell patients to eat spinach, which is high in lutein and good for the eyes.”

A Wisconsin native, Dr. Brown returned to his home state after his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, the oldest eye hospital in the country. He completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and an internship at St. Joseph’s hospital in Milwaukee, and is a graduate of Brown University and Madison West High School.

On a personal note, his hobbies include outdoor nature photography and playing piano, and he has even played clarinet for high school musicals in Chippewa Falls.
